I hope everyone is enjoying his or her first 3 day weekend. The weather has been nice since school started and I hope it will get better. I just wanted to remind you all that our Open House is on Friday September 10th, from 5-7pm at T-160. T-160 is located at the 3rd floor of the Caesar Chavez building, located opposite side of Jack Adams Hall, and heading to the left side.We plan to have many fun events this semester, like bowling, karaoke, or a BBQ day just to name a few. To get more information, please come to our open house.

I hope everyone got the classes they wanted. I also want to remind everyone that last day to add and drop class is Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

This semester we will be hosting Korean Culture Night. This event focuses on the different aspects of Korean culture from both past and present such as music, dance and even martial arts. So come and enjoy the show!

 

Korean Culture Night

 

Date: April 12, 2010

 

Time: Doors open at 5:30PM and the show will start at 6:00PM .

 

Location: Jack Adams Hall, Cesar Chavez Student Center , San Francisco State University , 1600 Holloway Avenue .

 

Admission: $7 pre-sale, $5 pre-sale for 2 or more tickets, $10 at the door.

 

To purchase a pre-sale ticket, visit the KSA office located at the Cesar Chavez Student Center at room M-100D. KSA coordinators will be selling tickets so feel free to talk to one of the coordinators to purchase tickets.

 

Some of the performances for KCN will be:

 

- SFSU TKD (Tae Kwon Do)

 

- KSA Dance Crew (Korean modern dancing)

 

- EGO (traditional Korean Drumming)

 

And more…

 

Also, do not forget to invite your friends to this event. This event is open to the public so non SFSU students as well as non KSA members are welcome to attend.
